Adding your FTSO service to Flarepedia is a simple process that allows you to showcase your service to the community. You will be able to add information such as the history of your service, what makes it unique, your team, and more.

Getting Started

To add your FTSO service to Flarepedia, you will need to have a Flarepedia account. If you already have an account, you can skip this step. If you need to create an account, follow these instructions:

  1. Click 'Login or Register' at the top of the page or visit the registration form link.

  2. Fill in the required details, making sure to use a valid email address as you will need to confirm it in the next step. Once you have filled in the details, click 'Create Your Account'.

  3. Check your email for a verification email. If you do not see the email, please check your spam/junk folders. Click 'Verify Email' in the email. If you do not receive an email, please contact us through the form on the page.

  4. Once you have verified your email, you will be logged into Flarepedia and be prompted to choose a username.

Adding a New Page to Flarepedia

Once you are logged in, you will be able to add a new page to Flarepedia. In the navigation bar, drop down the navigation menu and under the 'Explore' tab (indicated by the compass), choose 'New'. You can also click here to go directly to the editor. Once you are on the editor, read through the prompts displayed.

You will now be ready to fill in your FTSO service's information and create a page on Flarepedia. You can add as much or as little content as you'd like and can edit these details at a later date if you wish.

Title

The title of your page is not changeable and determines the URL of your page. For example, if you name your page "Flarepedia FTSO" the URL will be generated as /i/flarepedia-ftso.

Categories

Categories describe your page and help us display it in the proper location. Your FTSO service may also fall under other categories depending on the context. In this case, you will choose 'Signal Provider' and any other categories that you believe your service includes.

Networks Choose the networks that your service operates on. This could be just the Flare Network or it could be Flare and Songbird.

Address The Address field is only given as an option per specific categories. Please input your FTSO providers network addresses.

Links

Links are showcased on your page and are a way for the community to discover your service further. Add any relevant links that are relevant to your service.

Content

The content section is the main body of your page on Flarepedia. Every page on Flarepedia is broken up into sections. The first section is a required Introduction section. Hover over the section and click 'edit' to edit the text.

Start your page off with an introduction of your services, what you do, etc. When done, click 'save'.

Now that we've introduced the reader to your service, we'll add additional sections to further explain various components of your service. Click 'Add' and then choose 'Content Section'. Hover over the content section and click 'edit'.

Ultimately, it is your decision on how you want to structure your content, how much content to add, how you want to describe your service to readers, etc. Some examples of things you could include are information about your team, the history of your service, various other benefits

Adding external links to your Flarepedia page is not permitted, but you can include references to other content on the internet. To add a reference, click 'Insert Reference'. This will add a tag to your content which will be replaced with a reference link once the page is live. More information on references can be found in the next section.

References

References are an excellent way to add credibility to your Flarepedia page and create backlinks to your own website and social media. References can include news articles, videos, and other types of content on the internet.

They are used within content sections to support the facts and information you provide. To add a reference, click 'Add' and fill in the required details for your reference. The reference ID will correspond to the reference tag that is added to your content when adding a reference.

TLDR (Too Long Didn't Read)

The TLDR section allows you to summarize your entire page in a short paragraph. This summary is displayed at the top of your page and serves as a quick reference for readers. It is also used when displaying previews of your page's content, such as in search results and Twitter previews.

Tags

Tags are used to sort and recommend your page throughout Flarepedia. They are usually single words or short phrases that describe your page, such as "Signal Provider," "Flare," "Passive Income," "Rewards," and "FTSO."

Keywords

Keywords are phrases used by search engines to help people discover your page. For example: "FTSO Provider that gives additional rewards," "FTSO Providers for Flare," and "Who to delegate to on Flare."

Reason

The reason is a statement reviewed by moderators when approving your submission. It is not displayed publicly and should not be overthought.

Images

Currently, Flarepedia does not allow visitors to upload images. However, once we receive your submission, we will source your images from your social media and upload them to your page ourselves.
