A canary network is a functional blockchain that has a specified token supply, designed to facilitate testing of new features in a production environment before they are introduced to the main network. Unlike a testnet, which usually has an infinite token supply, the canary network offers limited tokens. The users of the canary network are actual users, but they acknowledge the experimental nature of the platform. The Flare Network's canary network is known as Songbird.
